There are countless times I've run for miles to see a little spider. These disturbing insects give me the creeps. But right now, I love spiders. This spider that is shown in the video is one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. I'm not exaggerating ... see for yourself.
It is the marios speciosus also known as the coastal peacock spider. It is about 4 mm long and can be found along the beaches near Perth, in Western Australia. The boot of this video indicates that, due to the rarity of this spider, there have been no images of this creature so far, although it has been known since 1874. Forget a documentary on wildlife. This video is the only recording available of a peacock spider.
