A six-year-old boy from Ohio was taught to play the piano by ear and now plays exceptional versions of classical songs, and is blind.
Children generally begin to learn to play the piano or other instruments when they are around five or six years old. They usually manage to take some notes and play one or two simple songs, but Avett Ray Maness, six, is not his average son.
Young Avett was taught to play the piano by ear. This in itself is quite impressive, but the fact that he is blind makes it even more extraordinary. It turns out that the six-year-old from Dayton, Ohio, is a piano prodigy.
